Which brass fastener finish is best for outdoor use?

Nickel plating (500–1000 hours salt spray) is the most popular choice for outdoor brass fasteners. For marine environments, combine nickel plating with a C280 Muntz metal base for maximum corrosion resistance.

Are your plating processes RoHS compliant?

Yes. We offer trivalent chrome (Cr3+) instead of hexavalent chrome (Cr6+), and lead-free tin plating — both fully RoHS and REACH compliant. Specify RoHS compliance on your order.

Can you match a specific finish colour or appearance?

Yes. We can match most brass finish specifications including custom antique, satin, brushed and coloured finishes. Provide a sample or specification and our finishing team will confirm feasibility.
